I remember when I was a kid, I looked up and saw a pair of shoes strung around a telephone wire. As I got older I’d see more and more of this peculiar spectacle. I couldn’t help to wonder how they got up there, but I think somehow I’ve always known.

To this day I still envy those children who were able to fly away, and escape to a world where shoes are optional.
